Auntie Lan Sarawak Delicacies:
Auntie Lan Sarawak Delicacies: The hometown taste that Sarawak travelers love the most
Every Sarawakian who has left their hometown will miss the taste of their hometown. Walking in the streets and alleys of West Malaysia, although there are many Sarawak delicacies, it is rare to find authentic and nostalgic ones. Auntie Lan Sarawak Delicacies, which I want to recommend today, is the most authentic Sarawak food stall in Puchong in my mind!
Sarawak taste, unchanging persistence
Ten years ago, I was still eating Auntie Lan's food in Subang. Later, she moved to Puchong, and we old customers naturally followed her all the way. Last year, because the rent soared by 50%, she was forced to return to the small stall to operate, but the taste remained the same, and even felt more like home.
When I came here, I wanted to eat everything, but unfortunately I only had one stomach, so I had to choose carefully every time.
Must-try recommendation: Sarawak Laksa
Sarawak Laksa is my first choice every time I come here. The soup has a strong Sarawak flavor, with a perfect blend of coconut milk, shrimp, and sambal. One sip is like returning to the streets of Kuching. The ingredients are rich, with fresh shrimp, shredded chicken, and bean sprouts, and it tastes great with rice noodles.
Hidden version of soy sauce spicy noodles
This soy sauce spicy noodles is not on the menu, but regular customers know that they can make special requests to the boss lady. This is the hometown flavor that many Sarawakians have eaten since childhood. It is simple but unforgettable. The noodles are mixed with fragrant black soy sauce and special chili sauce. The salty and sweet taste is moderate, and the noodles are chewy. You can feel the unique flavor of Sarawak with one bite.
Other recommendations: Teochew Kueh Juice & Tomato Juice Kueh Teow
In addition to Sarawak cuisine, there is also my favorite Teochew Kueh Juice here. The rich marinade is paired with soft and glutinous kueh noodles. Every bite is full of collagen. The tomato sauce rice noodles are a must-try. The tomato sauce is sweet and sour and appetizing. Paired with meat slices and pork liver, it tastes especially good.
If you are also a Sarawakian who misses the taste of home, why not come to the 88 Restoran Double Eight behind COLUMBIA HOSPITAL in Puchong to find Auntie Lan. Every bowl of noodles and every mouthful of soup is the taste of memories! Are there any foodies like me? Come and share your favorites!
