Ah Ma Jia provided a pleasant start to the day with its simple, nostalgic breakfast offerings.
The pork floss bun was another highlight, with its soft, pillowy bread topped with a generous amount of savoury-sweet pork floss, making it both satisfying and flavourful.
The kaya toast, a breakfast classic, was solidly executed. The layers of kaya and butter were well-distributed, offering a comforting sweetness complemented by the creamy richness of the butter.
The yam cake was the item that stood out. Its texture struck a good balance, neither powdery nor too dense, and the flavour was enjoyable without being overpowering.
Overall, Ah Ma Jia delivered a breakfast that felt both familiar and satisfying—perfect for a simple, hearty morning meal.
