Was invited to a wine dinner at Angie’s Oyster Bar & Grill where Montes from Chile featured their best selling red and white wines paired with the delicious food from Angie’s.
This was my 1st Chilean wine tasting and I must say the wines were pretty good! My favourite wines were the chardonnay, a fresh palette of tropical fruits with a lovely finish, and the carmenere, a balanced red of fruit and oak with very smooth tannins. The food at Angie’s is always consistently good and the food and wine pairings were done perfectly. Definitely a good night of great food, great wines and great company.
