Pizza, Non-Halal
Round Pizza Napoletana may be their name but those in the know just refer to it as Round Happy Mansion. With its authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas and commitment to quality ingredients, it has quickly risen through the ranks to become a firm favourite among pizza lovers in PJ.
As I stepped into pizzeria, I was immediately greeted by the sight of the centerpiece of the restaurant, its wood fire dome oven. Eager to sample their offerings, my companions and I wasted no time in placing our orders. We opted for a selection of their signature pizzas, each promising to tantalize our taste buds in its own unique way.
First up was the classic Margherita pizza (RM62), topped with velvety Buffalo cheese and vibrant tomato sauce. As I took my first bite, I was transported to the streets of Naples, where the simple yet sublime flavours of the pizza captivated my senses. The creamy cheese melted seamlessly into the tangy tomato sauce, while the perfectly charred crust provided the ideal base for the toppings.

Next, we delved into the Beef Pepperoni Pizza (RM65). This is a carnivore’s delight that promised to satisfy even the most voracious appetite. The savoury slices of pepperoni paired harmoniously with the rich tomato sauce, creating a symphony of flavours that danced across my palate with each bite.

Finally, we indulged in the Cheese based Pork Sausage, and Leek Pizza (RM65). A decadent combination that promised to elevate our pizza experience to new heights. The generous smattering of cheese melded beautifully with the savoury bits of diced pork sausage and delicate leeks, creating a medley of flavours that left us craving more.

While the pizzas were undeniably delicious, I couldn’t help but notice that the crust was softer than I had anticipated. As a fan of crispier crusts, I found myself longing for a bit more bite with each bite. Whether you’re a pizza aficionado or simply looking to indulge in a slice of Italy right here in PJ, Round Pizza Napoletana is sure to delight your taste buds and leave you craving more.
Eating at Round Rizza is not entirely a cheap affair as our dinner for 4 came up to just under RM300. Reservations are recommended if you want to avoid disappointment.
