Steak, Non-Halal
As a food lover, a reformed chef and someone who takes dining out relatively seriously, I am constantly looking for the best of the best – items on a menu, or examples of a particular dish that are exceptional and at the ‘top of the class’. When a restaurant boasts the ‘best steak in town’, therefore, it has to be worth checking out, and if you decide to put the Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse to the test, may I suggest that you bring friends.
It’s fine dining, but with a casualness that’s designed to reflect a combination of Tuscan farmhouse chic and French brasserie boudoir charm. Staff take their jobs seriously, and you can definitely count on them to feel right at home.
The menu at Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse stays true to its name, putting Tuscan-style chargrilled steaks at the forefront. I have done a review here before – to me the best #1 steakhouse in Singapore. It’s still the best after these 2 decades. Of course – not saying there aren’t alternatives like Cut, or Meadesmoore- but this is certainly one of the best value for money for serious meat lovers.
The 900g T-bone was at medium rare perfection. 8/10

The burrata was good at 7.5/10

The sides are also fantastic – the broccolini, mushrooms and especially the Brussel sprouts were heavenly – surely basted with beef fats. They were all 7.5/10 except maybe the mushrooms at 7/10. Overall, another fantastic experience here.

The octopus was 7.5/10. Even Tinto loses out bcos Bistecca does it more succulently. It’s how they play with fire. The only place that could rival Bistecca for control of fire would be Sam Pynt at Burnt Ends – another legendary World Top 50 restaurant.

On good days (which is most), Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse weighs in at 8/10. This is a solid 1pt above another very good establishment i.e Tomahawk.
Bedrock Origins at Oasia, Sentosa would be number 2 at 7.5/10.
