Yam Rice, Non-Halal
Yam Rice I always wanted to try, BM Yam Rice Kopitiam. Had heard about this shop for a long time but never has a chance to step foot in it till today. Happen to be Bukit Mertajam and determined to give it a try. No regret.
You can find big chunk of yam in the rice and the rice is seasoned with just the nice soy sauce and other condiment. The only thing is it is bit too small portion. Need 2 rice to fill the tummy.

The pork soup is with many parts of pork including pork slides, pork belly, intestine, pork liver and also pork kidney. Cooked with pickle vegetables and it is so appetising. Have to gollup the soup till last drop. The braised pork leg is really tender and nicely braised.

The meal must complete with their unique sambal with dark soy sauce.

Overall RM 28, worth the money. Overall, BM Yam Rice Kopitiam is a must try when you are in Bukit Mertajam.
BM Yam Rice Kopitiam is Michelin Bib Gourmand rated
