Big Breakfast, Coffee, Pastries, Pork-free
Bray Bakery has earned some cred as the place to go for baked stuff. I had their Baker's Breakfast and also a Barista & Baker's Paring which is a black and white coffee pairing with a kouign amann (a decadent dessert made of layers of crispy caramelized pastry).
The Baker's Breakfast (RM28++) is described as a simple & humble rendition of how our baker's eat for breakfast which comes with chopped mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs, truffle miso salad, pesto & a fancy touch of house made chicken duck spam and the aforementioned 2 slices of sourdough bread. I liked the flavours of the chicken duck spam though I found the texture too soft. The rest of it not so much as the flavours were too sophisticated for me to process. It could have been the truffle miso salad messing with me.
But I did very much enjoy the Barista & Baker's Paring (RM25++) at Bray Bakery. It was a good deal as it came with a 1/2 cup of black coffee and a 1/2 cup of white coffee paired with a delicious kouign amann. The black coffee paired very well with the kouign amann. I almost wanted to dip it in the coffee but I think it would have exposed my "sua-koo"ness.

If you park in the building, don't bother looking for a parking machine. Head straight to the front desk at the lobby. The guard at the front desk will process your parking ticket for you.
