Breakfast, Non-Halal
A Stroll for Breakfast at Apollo Market Butterworth. Apollo Market is a “Cowboy” Market at Jln Raja Uda, that over the years has become the Main Market that serves Butterworth Town and its surroundings.
It also houses a collection of tasty affordable food stalls, at its food court, food stalls and the many converted house turn Kopi Tiam around it.
Here u will find any typical Penang Malaysian Chinese Food, such as Noodles, Nasi Lemak, Economy Rice stalls, Kuih, Snacks, n Sweets, some prepacked and some prepared fresh on the spot. most of them very affordable. Occasionally you will find special treats at Pop up stalls at the Daily Pasar Pagi.
One of the best Wu Kok in Penang (Yam Dumplings) stuff with Char Siew (BBQ Sweet Pork) will occasionally grace this Market. Easily identify with the crowd impatiently waiting. I have written about this stall earlier.
For an interesting Foodie Market stroll come early, and bring along a very large appetite.
