Breakfast, Pork-Free
Jen and I ventured to Fox Paradox Cafe Ampang for breakfast and decided to try two of their more unique offerings. The experience was… interesting, to say the least.

The first dish, a Beef Brisket Mmelette (RM49, proved somewhat unbalanced. The generous portion of beef brisket unfortunately overpowered the delicate flavour of the omelette itself. While the brisket was undeniably flavorful, it simply dominated the overall composition of the plate.

A more successful combination came in the form of the Buttermilk Sourdough Pancakes – Torched Hollandaise Beef Strips (RM29). This was an intriguing pairing – the richness of the egg and bacon complemented surprisingly well by the fluffy pancakes. Jen particularly enjoyed this dish, finding the unusual combination quite appealing.

I would have to say that Fox Paradox Cafe Ampang tries to be innovative with their dishes so you won’t see a Big Breakfast on their menu
