Big Breakfast, Pork-Free
Returning to Sunway, we made our breakfast stop at Breakfastology. Here’s a place that opens at a right proper time for breakfast, 7:30 am. I was intrigued by their unique offering, a build-your-own breakfast platter. The freedom to curate my breakfast experience, ranging from 1 to 7 items, was an interesting prospect.

Opting for a 5-item combo (RM29), my breakfast platter comprised scrambled eggs with sourdough toast, fried potatoes, cocktail sausages, and a tantalizing addition of biscoff with oats. The aromatic essence of the fried potatoes heralded the arrival of this diverse and visually appealing platter. The items were all competently prepared.

The sourdough bread had the right depth for me. Easy enough to bite into but not too thin.

My morning feast was rounded with a cup of coffee (RM10) which arrived after the meal. The waiter delivered the coffee to me right after he had noticed I had finished off the last item from the platter. Kudos to him for his attentiveness. The coffee, with its strong hint of nuttiness, added a delightful touch to the overall flavour profile of the meal.

In terms of pricing, the total at Breakfastology came up to RM54 for the platter and two beverages, a reasonable price for to pay for a breakfast nowadays.
The quiet serenity of the cafe was an added bonus. Despite the busy traffic outside, the sound never once made it past the window.
