Kangaroo Meat, Wagyu, Non-Halal
At Butcher’s Prime Restaurant for dinner.

Yah, Kangaroo steak for an adventure. The chef cooked the Kangaroo meat medium rare which is so tender. A little gamey taste but not that strong. Australian government has been encourage restaurant to put Kangaroo meat on the menu, but it does take right technique to get it done right. And I would say Butcher’s Prime did such an awesome job.

We had Mixed platter with Wagyu rump. The platter is not crowded with 220g Wagyu beef with perfection, but generous portion of sausages, lamb ribs, calamari and broad cut fries. Could not even finish the whole meal. The Wagyu is so soft and tender and the lamb needs a special mention as it is really melt in the mouth.

The sausage is really tasty Ith chunk of meat and calamari with right seasoned batter make it so good to chomp down. Usually the fries is just a compliment side but even the fries is so flavorful here. The restaurant is just sited next to Yarra River which has such beautiful night scene too. Couple the meal with Shiraz and Reisling complete the such enjoyful dinner experience. Well done Butcher’s Prime Restaurant.
So Sedap Level – 6 stars!
