Pork, Non-Halal
Back at Butcher’s Table SS2 for lunch with a couple of friends to celebrate multiple birthdays, we indulged in a feast that truly satisfied our porky cravings. Our order consisted of the tomapork, bangers and mash, and a crispy pork knuckle.
The bangers and mash (RM49.95), a classic comfort food, did not disappoint. The sausages were juicy and well-seasoned, paired perfectly with the creamy mashed potatoes. It's a dish that is comforting to say the least.
The tomapork (RM165.60) was a highlight of our meal. This hefty pork steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender that was really full of flavour. It was clear that the meat had been expertly prepared, and it quickly became a favourite at our table.
Then there was the crispy pork knuckle with 2 sides (RM143.99), a staple at Butcher’s Table and a dish they are renowned for. The meat was incredibly tender, falling off the bone easily, while the skin was perfectly crispy, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite.
Golden Brew
To complement our hearty meal, we shared 24 bottles (6 bottles for RM132) of Flensburger Gold among the six of us. The crisp, refreshing beer was the perfect accompaniment to the rich, savoury dishes, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Despite the indulgence, the total bill came to just under RM1,000, which we found to be a reasonable price for the quality and quantity of food and drinks we enjoyed. The excellent food, combined with good company and a pleasant atmosphere at Butcher’s Table SS2, made it a meal to remember. We left thoroughly satisfied and looking forward to our next visit.
