Chiefeater Luke Soon finds a lot of palatable solace in the simple home cooked style food at Ken Kee Restaurant

Mixed Rice, Street Food, Non-Halal
I was so surprise by the price of the food at Cheah Yew, Fettes Park. Other places will be at least RM8 or RM10. But it cost me only RM4 here. I chose one vegetable dish only but had a lot of it. This is the cheapest economy rice I ever had. No wonder so many people. It’s took my around 30 minutes to queue for take the food and pay. Enjoy the dish and good local coffee too RM1.80.

Some people state that they took 4 items, which included fish, chicken, vegetables, eggs and it was less than RM9. What used to be known economy rice is now usually known as mixed rice. At Cheah Yew, it is still truly economy rice.
