Chiefeater AS Lim had marmite chicken, three-flavour fish and cabbage at How Kee Curry in Simpang Ampat

Wantan Mee, Pork Noodles, Non-Halal
Chef Aw Restaurant is one the few full service restaurants that opens as early as 8 am to cater to breakfast diners. After hearing a recommendation from a friend about the food there, we decided to venture there for lunch.
I ordered a Wantan Mee. While the noodles had a firm bite, the flavour profile leaned slightly towards sweetness, which was not appealing to my palate. The soup that came with the wantan mee was rather bland too.

The wantan was rather small.

The Pork Noodle had a flavour profile that was somewhat muted, leaving Jen yearning for a bolder taste on it.

The Fried Pork though well-seasoned challenged the boundaries of tenderness where the meat was concerned. Put simply it was too hard for my preference.

Perhaps the gems at Chef Aw Restaurant were not the dishes we ordered.
