Big Breakfast, Pork-Free
The big breakfast (RM35) Chizu Rio Puchong looked promising at first glance. Plated neatly with a golden scrambleg egg, salad greens, ham, some cocktail sausages and half a croissant. Unfortunately, it delivered more on looks than substance.
The eggs were mildly seasoned, but lacked the rich buttery depth one might expect at this price point. The accompanying pesto-like sauce added a refreshing tang, but it felt slightly disconnected from the rest of the components. The croissant was hard and crispy enough to be a keropok.

This wasn’t a particularly memorable big breakfast. Everything felt more about maintaining aesthetics than delivering a full-flavoured meal.
The breakfast set looked like good value and the pastries did look good.
