Korean
This takeaway from Chon Dak in Sunway Geo was a mixed experience. The fried gizzard was genuinely enjoyable, seasoned well and cooked to a satisfying bite. It had that classic Korean-style savouriness with enough depth to keep each mouthful interesting.

The medium original fried wings were crisp, hot and aromatic when opened, and they travelled fairly well.
The kimchi fried rice, however, looked the part but didn’t live up to expectations. The flavours felt muted, missing that tang and heat a good kimchi bokkeumbap should deliver.

The gizzard was the star. It had a lovely chew, properly cleaned, well-marinated and stir-fried with peppers, carrots and mushrooms. The seasoning leaned savoury and the vegetables added good texture, making it a dish worth ordering again.

Wing Original (Medium) – RM31
Kimchi Fried Rice – RM17
Gizzard Stir Fry – RM21
Score: 7.9 / 10
M – Meal Value (8.0/10)
Great gizzard and decent wings. Fried rice underperformed. Portions fair for the price.
V – Vibe & Venue (7.5/10)
Efficient service, food travels well. No issues with packaging or pickup.
X – X-Factor (8.2/10)
The gizzard. Properly seasoned and textured. Have not previously seen it as an option in a Korean restaurant.
