Another excellent restaurant at Cueva at Gurney Walk, Penang. For RM38 I had a bowl of mushroom soup with a touch of truffle, a sea bass thermidor and ice cream with corn.
The sea bass thermidor is a journey of three different tastes. The sea bass is topped with creamy sauce, the vegetable is more than a side dish, it has a strong garlicky flavour and a mussel, while the mashed potatoes is lightly flavoured to complete the overall experience.
Wifey selected the Thai style glass noodles with two large prawns. Service was excellent. Kudos to Khai who attended to our needs.
