One of a traditional Vietnamese speciality that I missed much but long forgotten until a friend sent a picture of him having it at Dai Viet on Springvale Road. Decided to drive to Springvale just for it. A simple traditional Vietnamese known as Bun Rieu. A crab meat, tomato soup that’s so good.

Bun Rieu. Soupy is so so good (pictured above).

Condiments including prawn paste / chilli.

Crab meat, tomato based broth. Usually, they have pig’s blood jelly. Not for me. A piece of pig trotter so good.
