Vietnamese
Dinner at Di Vietz Puchong was quite dissatisfying. While the beef portion in the Beef Banh Mi was generous, it was unfortunately overly peppery.

However, the biggest letdown was the baguette itself. Instead of the signature crispy, airy baguette one expects from a Banh Mi, the bread used here was more akin to a soft, toasty hot dog bun. This lack of authenticity in the bread texture significantly impacted the overall enjoyment of the dish.

Beef Vermicelli was not great.

Stew Beef looked good but was just OK.

Lemon Mint Soda: RM8.80
Milk Tea: RM8.80
Lemongrass Ginger (Hot): RM6.80
Divietz Beef Vermicelli: RM19.90
Stew Beef: RM18.90
Beef Banh Mi: RM15.90
Total: RM91.80 (including 10% Service Charge and 6% SST)
Average Spend: RM30.60 per pax (3 pax)
Score: 6.17/10
M – Meal Value
While the pricing is competitive for the Bandar Puteri area, the lack of technical execution in the Banh Mi bread and the heavy-handed seasoning of the beef make it hard to justify as a value-for-money Vietnamese experience.
Score: 5.5/10
V – Venue & Vibes
The restaurant provides a standard, clean dining environment in a busy commercial hub. It is functional for a quick meal, though it lacks a distinctively authentic atmosphere.
Score: 7.0/10
X – X-Factor
The X-factor is the beef portion size, but it is unfortunately overshadowed by the incorrect bread choice. A Banh Mi’s identity is tied to its crispy baguette; substituting it with a soft bun removes the core element that makes the dish unique.
