Yong Tau Foo
After dinner at Souliquid, we decided to walk around Puteri 1 and decided to have desserts at Hey Yi Dessert Puchong. This is what it looked like when we arrived at 8:35 pm but 20 minutes later, the whole outlet was packed.

We tried the 3 variety they had, as seen piled high on a very compact dish. The components are freshly fried when ordered and came out pretty tasty with a great crispy texture.

My only grouse was why was the serving plate so small, as the pile of hot items felt a bit cramped.
Alongside the savory bites, sweet treats like Longan Tofufah and Bubur Chacha completed the meal. It makes for a solid, multi-layered dinner stop if you can beat the evening rush.
Longan Tofufah

Bubur Chacha

Longan Tofufah: RM5.90
Bubur Chacha: RM5.90
YTF Tofu Bok: RM3.00
YTF Ling Ling Roll: RM4.50
YTF Chives Cake: RM4.50
Total: RM26.30 (inclusive of 6% Service Charge)
Average per pax: RM8.77 (3 pax)
MVX Score: 7.2/10
M – Meal Value
At an average of under RM9 per pax for a shared mix of hot savory snacks and cold desserts, the value proposition is incredibly accessible. The use of freshly fried ingredients rather than pre-cooked items adds good quality for the price paid.
Score: 7.5/10
V – Venue & Vibes
The shop features an organized, brightly lit, and air-conditioned environment that works perfectly for quick group dining. However, because it fills up fast enough to create a waiting queue by mid-evening, the environment can feel a bit rushed during peak hours.
Score: 7.0/10
X – X-Factor
The X-factor is the appeal of hot, pork-free fried Yong Tau Foo in a dedicated sweet dessert parlor. Pairing crisp, savory bites like the Ling Ling Roll with traditional tong sui under one roof provides an interesting lifestyle flexibility.
Score: 7.2/10
