Ho Seh Huat Restaurant Dong Bo Pork
Chinese, Dong Bo Pork, Non-Halal
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater David Ng was on a family trip to Melaka and had dinner at Ho Seh Huat Restaurant where they found the Dong Bo Pork was a gem
Hong Kong, Pork Chop Rice, Non-Halal
Hubby saw an ad on this HK Cafe, Duoo Kopi Bandar Menjalara, and we decided to give it a try today. Went for brunch. It's crowded and waited, like less than 5 minutes for a seat of 3 pax.
Today all become tong nasi. all 3 of us ordered rice.
1. HK Pork Chop Curry with Rice with the curry drenched on it (RM17.90)
2. HK Chicken Chop Curry with Rice (RM17.90)
My verdict: Both Pork & Chicken Chop selling same price. But I'm not sure why the pork chop comes with a fried egg, but the chicken chop didn't. So sad. Overall, it tastes good. The curry is thick and very gau mei. It's not very spicy.
3. Cheese Baked Luncheon Meat with Rice (RM19.90)
My verdict: Full of cheese
Mixed it with the rice and became very chewy. Just that it's a bit dry. There is no sauce in between the cheese and rice like Kim Gary. Thank God they are not kiam siap cos I requested for a bit of curry zap to eat with the rice.
Their noodles menu looks good, too. Will make it as reason to visit again
This post is for the main meal. Will have another post on the "small eat" and beverage.
