A quiet breakfast spot can be worth a lot on its own, and Emery Coffee in Bandar Puchong Jaya got that part right straight away. The room felt calm, comfortable and easy to settle into, with a clean modern look that made the whole place feel well suited for an unhurried morning meal.

The Wholesome Breakfast Platter was the main order, and it turned out to be a good experience overall. It came with eggs, sausage, ham, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans and a croissant, so there was enough variety on the plate to make it feel like a complete breakfast rather than just a token café set.

The standout for me was the chicken sausage. It had a noticeably more premium feel than the usual breakfast sausage that gets thrown onto a plate just to fill space. It was juicy enough, had a pleasant bite, and felt like the item on the platter that gave the meal a bit more character.

The eggs did their job well, the mushrooms and tomatoes rounded things out nicely, and the croissant added a buttery touch to soften the savoury side of the breakfast. Nothing on the plate felt wildly inventive, but it was put together in a way that made for a satisfying and comfortable meal.

The coffee was excellent too. That mattered because in a café like this, the drink should not feel like an afterthought. The flat white had the kind of smoothness and balance that made it easy to enjoy, and it helped lift the whole breakfast experience.

Overall, this was a breakfast built more on comfort and solid execution than novelty. Emery Coffee delivered a good morning meal in a quiet and pleasant setting, with the chicken sausage and the coffee standing out the most.
