My first visit to Putien Bukit Jalil was met with a noticeable upgrade in menu pricing, signaling a shift in the dining experience. Opting for the set menu priced at RM138 for two, we embarked on a culinary journey that unveiled a delightful sequence of dishes.
Kicking off our meal was the Braised Homemade Bean Curd, which set a mild yet savoury tone for our lunch.
Next, the Seaweed and Mini Shrimps Dressed with Sauce offered a tangy interlude before the arrival of the Sweet & Sour Pork with Lychee, introducing a pleasing touch of sweetness to the ensemble.
The standout was the Black Truffle Oyster Noodle, featuring noodles with a surprising al-dente texture and full, robust flavours.
Rounding off our experience was the Farmhouse Oyster Soup, which served as a calming conclusion to our palate's journey through the meal. Throughout our dining experience, the service was impeccable, complementing the elevated culinary offerings.
While the menu prices may have seen an upgrade, the quality of the food was undeniably excellent. We also indulged in cups of Ti Kuan Yin tea, priced at RM15 per cup.
A thoughtful touch was the provision of premium toothpicks, designed to efficiently clean even the trickiest nooks and crannies. As we departed, the "doggy bag" provided was no ordinary takeaway container; it maintained the warmth of our food, underscoring the commitment to premium service and customer satisfaction.
Overall, despite the premium pricing, our experience at Putien Bukit Jalil left us thoroughly satisfied, highlighting a successful blend of exceptional cuisine and top-notch service.
