FIRE at 1-Atico is an Argentine restaurant located on the top floor of ION Orchard.
I’ve been several times. Felt that it was too touristy – but the food is authentically good ; if you can get past the queues of tourists at ION.
During lunchtime, if its sunny – the seats by the window can heat up real quick. This wouldn’t be an issue during dinner, but at midday few people (locals at least) actually want to stay near the windows.
Food wise – it was awesome. Even the complimentary bread was one of the most special I’ve seen, and I honestly wished that they were open to giving more to diners rather than just that one free piece.
I got the Argentine striploin 300g @ medium rare. But it came out medium well-ish. Minus points there. 6/10
The lobster bisque was ok at 6.5/10.
Overall 6.5/10 for me; but of course I was there purely for gastronomy, not the sights.
