Basilico Restaurant Lunch
Italian, Non-Halal
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater William WL Loo wanted a change of palate from street food so indulged in a bit of Italian with lunch at Basilico Restaurant
Italian, Pork-Free
Been wanting to try Flour, Fire & Stone for a while and finally made it over. We're also trying to incorporate more fish into our diet & decided on the oven-baked seabass in caper butter sauce, with lyonnaise potato & grilled zucchini. Five stars, it was really good. Likewise the mushroom soup with a nice drizzle of truffle oil & crunchy croutons.
However, the Fagioli - tube pasta with french lentil ragout & Nduja spice in marinara broth fell short. It lacked salt, depth & was a bit too heavy on the spice. My mouth was burning midway. Nice texture & good portion though - enough for two. Point to note, the restaurant charges for parking on its premises.
