I braved the Friday lunch queue at Uncle Roger’s FUIYOHHH in a quest to kill curiosity as to what the fuss and hype is about. While standing in line for 25 mins thereabouts I struck up a conversation with the guy in front of us who turned out to be a lone Korean tourist on his final day here and realised that Uncle Roger also has a following in Korea.
I am of the view that the sambal fried rice is quite tasty although a tad oily and wet.
The pricing is an issue though and I think I would have left a happier customer if it was say 20-30% cheaper than what it is.
And I am not sure how it is going to do in repeating visits with its rather monogamous menu.
