Curry Mee, Pork-Free
Was running my weekly assignment in Puchong and stumble this cafe, Gerai Signature Puchong. They were opened in December 2023 (Second outlet - first one in Kota Kemuning) but already making a mark in the area. Wifey settled on the lunch set of Nyonya Curry Laksa, Chicken Roulade (appetiser) and Barley (unlimited). I took the Salmon Don and a Coffee to go with it.
The Nyonya Curry Laksa was really delicious. The broth was enriched with the right amount of Santan (coconut milk) and strikes the perfect balance between savory and mildly spicy - creating a complex yet harmonious taste. It was supplemented with cockles, prawns, egg, taufu and fish paste.
The Salmon Don was equally yummy with the grilled salmon firm, juicy and moist. The soft boiled egg and the sauce blended well with the salmon.
The coffee (which I requested to be less sweet) was perfect, had a nice aroma and I truly enjoyed every sip of it.
The ambience was truly cosy, relax and very clean. Staff were attentive, friendly and prompt in their service. Very impressed on 2 items. Firstly, for the feedback requested by their staff after our meal. They were very open to feedback and can see that they were eager act on any shortcoming. Secondly is on their hygiene. All their eating utensils are served, dipped in hot water. Will surely return to try their other dishes.
Looks like it could be good for events
