A new addition to the Subang Jaya café scene, The Daily Bakery & Patisserie opened its doors earlier in 2025 and is already drawing attention with its chic interiors and polished presentation.
The Big Breakfast (RM38) at The Daily Bakery & Patisserie was visually appealing and generously portioned. It featured a good mix of components: crisp hash brown, nicely browned sausage, sautéed mushrooms, vine cherry tomatoes, turkey bacon, baked beans, and a garden-fresh side salad. The scrambled eggs were creamy but could have leaned more towards runny for a richer mouthfeel. Still, the whole plate delivered on flavour and satisfaction.
The latte, served in a stylish double-walled glass cup, was smooth with a mellow roast—well-pulled and easy to sip. While it shields the heat away from the hands, it also takes some work to grasp it for those with smaller hands.
To finish, a complimentary chocolate which was a thoughtful touch. Soft, rich, and melt-in-the-mouth (think of the type of chocolate that Royce sells). It was small, but deeply satisfying.
