Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza Is Unimpressive

Went to Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza for their all you can eat pizza for MYR57 + tax with my son. We were hungry and excited to eat as much delicious pizza as possible. Unfortunately, the 6 types of pizza on offer were unimpressive.

Pepperoni - oily and overly salty pizza where you can’t really taste the beef chorizo. 5/10

Ham and pineapple - a poor imitation of the Hawaiian. Pineapple were neither sweet and the ham tasteless. 5/10

Corn and chorizo - there is only one Chorizo for the whole slice. This could have been good but alas it fail to reach its potential. 6/10

Classic Margherita - if only they were generous with the mozzarella and basil. All I tasted was the tomato paste. 5/10

Tandoori Paneer - this combo failed. I couldn’t taste any savoriness of the tandoor or the paneer. It was dripping with a red and white sauce and because they added fresh pomegranate fruit on it, made the pizza sour tasting. 3/10

Daily special - today’s special was the puttanesca. It was a first time for me trying it on a pizza rather than on a pasta dish. Unfortunately, because as a pizza, one can’t really mix all the ingredients together and as such you had pieces of anchovies all over the pizza, making certain parts overly salty and oily and other parts bland. 3/10

I wish so much to like this place but found myself writing this instead. I do hope they can improve but I doubt I would be going back there again.

For 120 bucks, you would be better off buying 4 large pizzas from somewhere like La Risata.
