Chiefeater Steven C T Tea discovers a supper gem, Curry Noodles House in Butterworth, serving curry mee with customizable toppings

Dim Sum, Non-Halal
Guardian Food Court is a pretty large food court (for Butterworth) in terms of size as tables. In terms of hawker stalls though there are only 8. Bak Kut Teh and Steam Fish, Koey Teow Th’ng, Roast Meat Rice are among some. Location wise it’s a bit Hidden, off the Main Jalan Raja Uda.
We have not been here for some time (last visit were pre MCO) so while hunting for a bite for breakfast while in the Area, we decided to drop by, unfortunately we were a bit too early (730am) most of the stalls were in the process of opening.
While there the Nonya Kuih Stall, Noodles Stall (Hokkian / Loh / Curry), Tim Sum were already open. the Koey Teow Thng was my target as I had good memories of this. However it was not to be as they open 8am plus.
Ended up with a Bowl of Hokkian Mee (Decent) and was still feeling a bit “empty”.

We took a look at the tim sum, which surprised us, firstly it’s not just the usual Siew Mai, Har Kau, they also have other items that not so common indicating self produce. We sampled one of the other items as well as common items and were happy with it, and we planned to go back for more and see how are the other not so common items.
