Steamed Pork, Non-Halal
Some days, a simple homestyle meal hits the spot better than anything else—and this lunch set from Hakshan Bandar Puteri Puchong was one of those days.

Delivered neatly in a compartmentalised tray, it came with two types of rice (white and brown), stir-fried cabbage with garlic oil, and the stars of the show: a steamed minced pork patty and sweet and sour pork.

The minced pork patty was clearly the standout. Moist, gently seasoned, and speckled with chopped scallions, it was the kind of dish that felt like it came out of a home kitchen, not a mass-prepped delivery order. Soft, savoury, and satisfying.

The sweet and sour pork was generously portioned and balanced well between the tangy-sweet sauce and crispiness of the battered pieces. Chunks of cucumber, onion, and pineapple gave it extra texture and contrast. The vegetables still had a bit of crunch—always a good sign in a delivery.

All in, this was a satisfying lunch that didn’t feel too heavy, and the pork patty alone is worth reordering. Definitely one of the better lunch options via food delivery in Puchong.
