Hathaway at Capital Tower is a beautiful and invigorating restaurant where you can savour the cosmopolitan flavours of the country, in particular the storied histories of our British and Southeast Asian crossroads. From moreish heirloom fish curry and fork-tender beef rawon to quintessentially british breakfasts and roasts, you’ll be amazed at how vibrant our culinary metropolis is.
Hathaway was in Dempsey till recently – moving into the heart of the CBD. I was pleasantly surprised that lunch was good. The May lunch menu surpassed my imagination and delighted my guest who asked your waitress “whether you have new chef? I will definitely dine here again.
I recalled having Hathaway once or twice in Dempsey and it didn’t impress. This time around – everything is a perfect 7.
The razor clam starter was an eye opener. The coconutty broth and kaffir lime was invigorating. Opening up your palate. Perfectly balanced by the chef. There was a bed/base of Chee Cheong Fun like pudding that the clams rested on. Amazing.

The cod fish was eloquently and delicately presented. Loved the asparagus sides. The colours and the texture was amazing.

The executive and lunch sets start at SGD78 for 3 courses.
