Char Kuey Teow, Street Food, Non-Halal
Hillside Ah Soon Cafe Char Kuey Teow has been in operation for a good 35 years. At that time this was the only available stall you can find for around 1km of Hillside Tanjung Bungah. It started as a humble stall parked in front of a residential house, with delivery service (way before Grab Food service started) to the surrounding areas.
2 dishes are available at Hillside Ah Soon Cafe – Char Kuey Teow & Koey Teow Thng. From their humble beginning, the hardworking couple slowly grew their business and managed to take over the house they were parked in front and made it their own cafe several years ago.
The Char Kuey Teow at Hillside Ah Soon Cafe has been my staple afternoon tea ever since my student days when I was staying in the area and now my comfort food, on the occasions when I visit Tanjung Bungah.
Street Parking can be found though it is getting more difficult.
