Big Breakfast
Breakfast at JP&Co Sunway Square turned out to be a good one. I had their Big Boss Breakfast with a hot latte, and this was one of those plates where there was enough variety to keep the meal interesting from start to finish.
What worked well here was that several items on the plate were genuinely enjoyable rather than just filler. The ham was good, and the streaky beef bacon also held up nicely. The sausage had a more premium feel than the average breakfast sausage, which gave the plate a bit more weight and made it feel less generic.

The scrambled eggs looked soft and inviting, and the mushrooms added an earthy depth to the breakfast. Salad and tomato relish helped keep the plate from feeling too heavy, so it came across as a more balanced breakfast rather than just a pile of meat and carbs.

The croissant was big, and visually it helped make the breakfast look generous, but it was probably the weakest item on the plate. It was not bad, but against the stronger savoury items, it did not stand out in the same way.

The item I liked best was actually the baked beans. They were not the usual runny type, and that made a difference. They had more body, more substance, and felt like a proper part of the breakfast rather than something spooned on for the sake of tradition.
The latte rounded things off well. Nothing overly flashy, just a good coffee to go with a hearty morning plate. Overall, this was a satisfying breakfast at JP&Co, with the stronger items easily outweighing the weaker croissant.

M – Meal Value
At RM52.10 for two people with a substantial breakfast plate, coffee and complimentary tea, this felt fair enough for a mall café breakfast. The better items on the plate, especially the sausage and beans, helped justify the spend.

V – Venue & Vibes
JP&Co at Sunway Square feels like the sort of place suited to a relaxed sit-down breakfast. The setting is neat, comfortable and modern enough for a casual morning meal.
Score: 8.0/10
X – X-Factor
The X-factor was the baked beans. They were not the usual runny kind and ended up being the most quietly satisfying part of the plate.
