I heard good things About Sri Siam Rice Stall at Kim Sum Kopitiam. From the time I move to Butterworth, in fact they have 2 outlets, both in the Butterworth/ Prai Foodie Areas, Raja Uda and Chai Leng Park. Being open during lunch only, these 2 outlets are not located where I would go during that time. Today I was at CLP during lunch, I decided to drop by.
Well the hype was real, food was nice and tasty, suitable for a Penang Lang.
It's a mixture of Nyonya, Thai, Malay, Chinese, Nasi Kandar food..... Very "Penang"... The food was all laid out for you to choose, many verity Available, long Qué, and be prepared to share table. For those who has low tolerance to spice, skip those dish with chili.
For those with mid tolerance, go easy.
Those with high tolerance, take your pick, u will enjoy.....
I went to town with the Sambal..... Burning Hot.
My personal opinion its a bit on the pricey side for a Kopi Tiam.... Still tolerable.....
