Chiefeater Kane Chong tried a lot of desserts at Bojio Space at SEA Park with foodie friends

Malaysian, Pork-Free
A little cosy café, Krave Mee Cafe, around the corner opposite Time Square Penang. I mean really at the corner. The dishes of the menu is basically the owner favourite food. Of course she is the cook herself.
Trying out 4 dishes. Gyoza, Kerabu Bee Hoon, Chicken Porridge and Beef Noodle. I would say all the dishes got their own character and I should say there are some room for improvement but the taste was really delicious.
1) Gyoza RM12 (5 pieces)
Pan fried juicy seasoned ground chicken meat and vegetables in wanton wrappers. Although the shape looks a bit funny, but it taste good. The owner seasoned the chicken meat very well. It was fragrant enough yet didn’t overcome the natural fragrance of the chicken meat.

2) Kerabu Bee Hoon RM6
Fried bihun with homemade kerabu sauce served with dry shrimps. The taste was excellent but the texture of the bihun was too fine until can use spoon to eat it.

3) Chicken Porridge Krave Mee RM10
Robust with shittake mushrooms, slow cooked with umami chicken stock & shredded chicken meat. Love the flavour of the porridge. So fragrances but again the porridge texture mix with the cooked rice is a bit new for me. Nevertheless I finished it all because I love the fragrance.

4) Beef Noodle RM18
Aromatic flavoured beef broth with sliced beef. Garnished with sliced onions herbs.
It was delicious and the taste the you can’t find it elsewhere. Overall I enjoy it very much and can feel the passion of the owner when talking to her. Great personalities of this young owner. Keep it up.
