Kwong Wah Ais Kacang Pavilion Bukit Jalil is another outpost of Kwong Wah. This outlet opened either late 2022 or early 2023. I was there earlier in February 2023 but decided a revisit was warranted.
Jen's unexpected choice, the Hainanese Chicken Chop, unveiled a tender chicken chop adorned in a sauce that leaned towards sourish notes of tomato. While the tenderness of the chicken was commendable, the sauce's profile left a divisive impression, lacking the the appeal we sought in a Hainanese styled chicken chop.

I had the Kai See Hor Fun. While it proved to be a visual feast with promising ingredients, there was flaw in its broth for me. Despite the quality components, I felt the broth missed the mark on the seasoning. I expected more of the savoury sweetness that I have to expect from a prawn based broth, but unfortunately that was quite muted here.

A saving grace emerged in the form of the Cendol. While the Cendol strands could have embraced a springier texture (my personal preference), the Gula Melaka coconut milk mix stood out as a beacon of excellence, making it an enjoyable dessert experience.
