Chee Cheong Fun, Pork-Free
Liew Kee (Ah Lek) Chee Cheong Fun is surely the most famous food in Teluk Intan, a small town in southern Perak. It started in a residential house in another part of the town decades ago. In 2022, it moved to the present shophouse.

Customers buying the chee cheong fun at the shop.

Only a few dining tables and stools available at the shop, most customers here are takeaways.

Only RM7.50 per packet and cash terms only. (No e-wallet)

The chee cheong fun here is different from the other types that are found elsewhere. It is served without any sauce but only pickled green chillies.

The chee cheong fun is paper wrapped for all customers, dine-in as well as takeaways.

The steamed rice rolls are filled with stewed turnip (sengkuang) and dried shrimps. They are a little firmer and more chewy.

It is a must-try if you are in this town which is also famous for its Leaning Clock Tower.
