Chiefeater David Quah rates Haru Korean Restaurant quite highly on their food, service and atmosphere

Hotpot, Non-Halal
Having opened in December last year, One Holland Village is home to many exciting new-ish eateries to check out. One such eatery is Little Pond Holland Village, a Chinese restaurant that specialises in dishes such as spicy prawn pot and a popular dish these days, the sauerkraut fish aka suan cai yue.
Titled the Golden Sauerkraut Fish (from SGD39.90++), this dish sees a steel pot filled with a rich suan cai-based soup, many slices of snakehead fish, and other supplementary ingredients such as cabbage, enoki mushrooms, and fish tofu puffs.

Little Pond’s other speciality, the Signature Fragrant Spicy Prawn (SGD49.90++), is a must-try for crustacean fans.
This place is a 6/10 for me, vs the likes of Beauty in a Pot or Imperial Treasure Steamboat. The sauces are simple – home made chilli dip, lime chilli and sesame. Purist. China style or specifically Suan Cai lovers might rate this higher – given their specialty.
