Lunch at Macallum Connoiseurs today and the food was average, though service was excellent. My coffee spaghetti with sausage appeared to have a sprinkling of coffee on it, but tasted miso-based & on the salty side.

Mum’s prawn sambal nasi lemak was decent and so were the passion fruit-berry & yuzu smoothies.

What killed the experience, however, was the fact that the venue had zero-sound absorption. The acoustics were terrifying and the entire restaurant was a cacophony of noise. Would we visit again? Probably not.
