This is Omakase for the masses- located the edge of Tanjong Pagar Road adorned by neighbouring Korean menus. But omakase for the masses can still taste good – and that Mizuya did. This 11- seater is suitable for quiet business lunches.
The standout dish was the abalone cooked in its own sauces- cooked overnight (many hours, lost count) to be exact.
The copious amounts of unni and ikura in the hand rolls didn’t hurt either.
Overall a solid 6/10 experience at Mizuya
