Garden Lebanon Restaurant Middle Eastern Meal
Middle Eastern, Pork-Free
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater David Quah enjoyed a lovely Middle Eastern cuisine meal at Garden Lebanon Restaurant Tanjung Bungah
Big Breakfast, Pork-Free
It had been a while since my last visit to Oomph Bukit Jalil, but I decided to stop by for breakfast. Jen and I opted to share the big breakfast (RM33), a dish we had previously enjoyed at their PJ outlet. However, this time, it fell short of expectations.
The most disappointing element was the sautéed mushrooms. The texture was oddly slimy, and the addition of onions introduced an unexpected sweetness that did not sit well with me. Instead of the savoury depth that well-cooked mushrooms usually provide, this version felt off-balance and unappealing.
Thankfully, the coffee (priced at RM7 during breakfast) remained as good as ever, providing some redemption to the meal. But with the big breakfast missing the mark, it wasn’t the most satisfying experience. Hopefully, this was just an off day for the kitchen, as I had better expectations based on past visits.
