Nasi Lemak
While I was running errands in SS2, I came upon the Penang Road Famous Teochew Chedul Kiosk SS2. Operating from food truck right in front of the SS2 Maybank, it provided me with a respite from the heat.

The Cendol was a satisfactory visual feast — the red beans, generously sized and meaty, set the stage for what awaited our palates. A departure from the ordinary, these beans added a hearty dimension to the classic Cendol composition.

The Gula Melaka was thick, robust, and resonating with the essence of palm sweetness, it elevated the entire dessert to a symphony of flavours. The red beans were plentiful and rather meaty, something I enjoyed.

As I indulged in the dessert, an unanticipated twist emerged, the cendol hardened. I felt that was a minus.

Nevertheless, priced at RM6 per bowl, this Cendol proved to be a good respite from the heat and was a fairly enjoyable treat before lunch.
