Pizza
Not every pizza travels equally well, and this takeaway from Pizza Mansion at The Five ended up being a tale of two dishes. Jen brought back a Hey Margherita Pizza and a Burrata Salad, and while one felt slightly let down by texture, the other came through beautifully.

The Margherita Pizza looked the part straight away. It had a lively red tomato base, blistered patches of melted cheese, and those dark basil leaves scattered across the top that made it feel properly appetising. On appearance alone, it was easy to expect a strong showing.

Taste-wise, the pizza was alright. The tomato sauce had enough brightness to keep things lively, and the cheese gave it that familiar, comforting pull you would want from a margherita-style pie. The problem for me was the crust. It was far too chewy, to the point that it distracted from the rest of the pizza. Instead of giving that pleasant bite and light charred finish, it leaned heavy and overly resistant.

The Burrata Salad, on the other hand, was excellent. The burrata itself looked lush and properly soft, finished with olive oil and chopped pistachios, sitting among tomatoes that added sweetness and freshness. It was simple, but it worked. The creamy richness of the cheese, the nuttiness from the pistachios, and the brightness from the tomatoes came together very well. This was the standout of the meal by some distance.

Taken together, this was one of those meals where the side dish quietly outshone the main event. Pizza Mansion still delivered a serviceable pizza, but the burrata was the item that made the order memorable.
Burrata Salad – RM38.00
Margherita – RM34.00
Sub-total: RM72.00
SST 6%: RM4.32
Total after rounding: RM76.30
Average per pax: RM38.15
MVX Score: 7.1/10
M – Meal Value
At RM34, the Margherita Pizza sits at a fair price point, while the Burrata Salad at RM38 felt more justified because of how well it delivered. The total spend of RM76.30 for two items is reasonable for Bukit Damansara, though the pizza itself did not quite perform strongly enough to feel like a great buy.
Score: 7.0/10
V – Vroomness of Delivery
Since this meal was brought back rather than eaten fresh at the restaurant, texture matters even more. Jen actually brought it back on a train. The pizza still held together visually, but the crust became too chewy by the time it was eaten. The burrata, however, travelled very well and stayed excellent.
Score: 6.5/10
X – X-Factor
The X-factor was clearly the burrata. It brought creaminess, freshness and balance in a way that made it the dish worth remembering from this order.
Score: 8.0/10
