Today I made an appointment with my brother to eat chicken at Rawang New Town Chicken Rice Restaurant. This chicken rice restaurant has been around for more than ten years. Its authentic flavor and long-established reputation make it definitely worth a try. Specializing in white chicken rice, Shahe noodles, bean sprouts and pork ball soup. The simple menu allows you to taste the purest Ipoh flavor. The cooked meat is tender and has just the right flavor of sesame oil. It is not too salty or greasy. It is completely tailor-made for us “middle-aged people”! Every bite of the chicken exudes a light aroma that makes you want to take one bite after another.
As for the bean sprouts, they are definitely the classic representative of Ipoh sprouts – plump and plump with a crisp texture. Just a light drizzle of sesame oil is enough to make it delicious, and it tastes refreshing without covering up the natural sweetness of the bean sprouts. Paired with Hor Fun and a bowl of fragrant pork ball soup, it’s a soulful pairing!
