Chicken Rice, Non-Halal
A late lunch in Melaka & we went with the quintessential chicken rice ball at Restoran Lim Jit that has since changed hands. On the table, two single-person sets – one with taugeh & the other with pak choy. Each main dish featured six chicken rice balls, tofu, eggs & fried chicken intestines at RM26 per pax, value for money considering the portions. However, it tasted nothing at all like the way it used to at this shop & except for the veggies, everything else was a bit of a letdown. Still, go ahead & try it for yourself – you may like it better than we did.
