Great China Restaurant Dinner
Cantonese, Non-Halal

Chiefeater Pat Lim had a wonderful dinner at Great China Restaurant in Pandan Indah catching up with some friends
Char Kuey Teow, Street Food, Non-Halal
Yesterday we took the new MRT line to Kepong Baru. Explored and enjoyed really good duck egg char koay teow at Restoran Penang Corner. It was so good...wok hei and moreish...indistinguishable from that in Penang. The koay teow th'ng was not bad too.
Alight at the Kepong Baru MRT station. It's about a 900 metre walk to Restoran Penang Corner.
Duck eggs have a richer and creamier yolk compared to chicken eggs, which makes the dish slightly richer and more flavorful. Some people also find that duck eggs have a slightly gamier taste compared to chicken eggs. Either chicken or duck eggs, enjoy your char kuey teow.
