Beef Noodles, Non-Halal
Lunch on Merdeka Day at Restoran Sin Kin Kok, just a few metres walk away from Thean Chun and Kong Heng in Ipoh Old Town. The road in front of these 2 shops had a traffic jam because many people came to eat on a public holiday.
We ordered 2 prawn mee (RM9 each), 1 char kuay teow (RM8.50) and 1 beef noodles (RM12). My bowl of beef noodles was good, with soft white radish, tender meat, large meatballs and smooth Ipoh kuay teow. The broth was very flavourful and I slurped up all of it till the last drop. There were tripe and tendon available too, but I don't eat those items. My parents said the prawn mee was good. My brother enjoyed the kuay teow. My iced white coffee was good, as usual.
