Wantan Mee, Roast Duck, Non-Halal
Can you imagine driving 40 mins 22 kilometers and when you reached the place, your dream food outlet is closed!! And Kuantan folks don't normally drive so far for food. Any place above a 10 mins drive is like a journey of eternity! My stomach almost burst into tears on hearing his favourite outlet is tutup. To console my stomach's anxiety, I patah to another popular place, Restoran Tas Jaya, nearby for roasted duck wantan mee lo, no other choice. I also haven't been here for milleniums afterall.
As I thought it would be but no, the taste never run since the old days. Roasted duck still got the not over powering 5 fragrant spice flavour, the skin was crispy with subtle smokiness smell and it's only RM8.50. Still sedap!!
