Western, Pork-Free
RGB is one of the original bungalow-based cafés in KL, a spot that has garnered a loyal following over the years. The atmosphere retains its charming appeal, making it a haven for those seeking a quality cup of coffee and a quiet corner off Jalan Tun Razak to enjoy it in. It even has it’s own parking so you don’t have to worry about expensive parking fees.

On my recent visit, I found the coffee (RM12++) to be as good as ever. Their blend of Mandheling and Colombian beans creates a robust flavour profile. Mandheling, known for its full body and earthy, chocolatey notes, pairs beautifully with the Colombian beans’ bright acidity and fruity undertones. It’s the kind of coffee that lingers on your palate, offering a well-rounded experience with each sip.

Beyond the coffee, I stumbled upon a gem in their menu: the cheesy spinach muffin, which is actually more of a quiche. At just RM5++ (RM6++ if you take it away), this was an unexpected delight—a rich, savoury snack that was both satisfying and comforting. The combination of creamy cheese and eggs, encased in a delicate crust, makes it a perfect light bite. I do like my quiche spiced up, so I added in some tabasco to flavour it up. For light eaters, 2 muffins can be actually be a full meal.
